Base pay range

Position Overview

Clarity seeks a motivated and experienced individual with a strong air quality background to join as an Environmental Project Manager in the UK. This remote, home-based, contractor role involves coordinating air quality projects, supporting customer inquiries, and expanding existing projects. You will act as the primary liaison with government, industry, academia, and community organizations across the UK, Europe, Africa, and the US East Coast, working flexible hours to accommodate different time zones.

You will oversee the deployment and operation of Clarity’s air monitoring solutions, manage stakeholder communications, and support project growth. The role requires ownership of projects from start to finish, collaboration, attention to detail, problem-solving, and going above and beyond for customers.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and ensure the success of air monitoring projects across Europe, Africa, and the US East Coast.
2. Collaborate with Clarity’s UK-based Account Executive on joint projects.
3. Coordinate with stakeholders for deployment and operation of monitoring solutions.
4. Design and assess site feasibility during project planning.
5. Oversee deployment and installation with partners.
6. Interpret high-level air quality data and identify trends.
7. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of monitoring solutions.
8. Support sales team with project renewal and expansion.
9. Collaborate with the Lab team on product performance and calibration.

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

• Education and experience in air quality sciences and environmental monitoring.
• Experience with low-cost air monitors, troubleshooting, and configuration.
• Knowledge of air monitoring technologies and data analysis.
• Ability to interpret technical information for diverse partners.
• Strong project management skills and problem-solving ability.
• Tenacity, independence, and organizational skills.
• Collaborative attitude and flexibility to travel (~3-5 times/year).

Preferred:

• Experience managing sensor networks and environmental consulting.
• Data analysis skills and knowledge of UK/EU regulations.
• Languages other than English are a plus.

Compensation

£45,000 to £55,000 GBP, based on experience.
