Job summary

Flex is seeking a Supplier Quality Lead based in Blackburn or Kendal, United Kingdom, to ensure externally supplied materials meet quality, delivery and regulatory requirements. You will lead supplier quality improvements, manage non-conformances, and drive supplier audits, scorecards and KKPs with cross-functional teams.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will coach the Supplier Quality Technician, qualify suppliers for new products, and support audits and PPAP activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Supplier Quality or Quality Engineering in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of 8D, FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality activities and drive development plans for key suppliers.
• Oversee supplier non-conformance management with root cause analysis and CAPAs.
• Monitor supplier quality through scorecards, audits and business reviews.
• Ensure supplier qualification, risk assessment and compliance for new products and major changes.
• Lead PPAP and support changes affecting product quality.
• Maintain supplier quality documentation and support audits and investigations.
