Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Plymouth, Devon, to join the Supply Chain & Quality function. The role focuses on ensuring components meet technical, quality and compliance standards and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

You will lead PPAP activities, resolve supplier quality issues, perform root cause analysis and support supplier development across UK sites. A strong background in quality/engineering and SAP experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Background in quality management or quality assurance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (e.g., 8D methodology).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of SPC, control plans and dimensional measurement techniques.
• High attention to detail with excellent data accuracy.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
• Confident communicator with suppliers and customers.
• Understanding of cosmetic quality standards.

Responsibilities

The Role
