Williams F1 Team is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to safeguard the quality of purchased parts and ensure first-time-right delivery to the track. You will lead supplier audits, develop QMS standards, validate components through APQP/PPAP, and drive rapid CAPA and 8D actions with cross-functional teams to meet extreme F1 requirements.

The role demands strong technical knowledge, travel for supplier visits, and a proactive approach under tight deadlines in a high-velocity motorsport

Qualifications

• Engineering drawings and GD&T proficiency.
• Knowledge of metallic and composite materials.
• Experience with quality tools and QMS (ISO 9001/IATF 16949).
• Familiarity with APQP/PPAP is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Audit suppliers via system, process and product audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Create and maintain Williams QMS standards and SOPs.
• Lead APQP/PPAP validation and FAI activities for new components.
• Conduct 8D, RCA, and CAPA for supplier-related issues.
• Develop suppliers to meet F1-level precision and reliability.
• Track PPM, defects, on-time delivery; escalate risks early.
• Create and implement product control plans aligned with engineering requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement and race teams.
