Job summary

TKMS Atlas UK is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure components and assemblies meet stringent maritime and defence standards. You will lead supplier quality performance from qualification through to manufacture and delivery, conduct audits, investigate non-conformances and drive root-cause and CAPA actions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer or similar role.
• Strong auditing, non-conformance and corrective-action skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in defence, maritime, aerospace or other regulated engineering environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, First Article Inspection and related quality standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality performance from qualification through to manufacture and delivery.
• Conduct supplier audits, inspections and quality reviews.
• Investigate non-conformances and lead root-cause and CAPA activity.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering, procurement and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support supplier development and pursue continuous improvement.
