Job summary
TE Connectivity plc is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Aerospace, Defense & Marine business in the UK. You will work with suppliers, manufacturing sites, sourcing teams and engineering to drive continuous improvement and strengthen supplier quality performance.
You will ensure that suppliers meet TE’s quality expectations, lead investigations, drive corrective and preventive actions, and monitor key metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
- Extensive experience in supplier and manufacturing quality.
- Strong data-driven problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Experience auditing suppliers and processes.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary quality contact for supplier issues.
- Lead supplier performance improvement initiatives using data.
- Audit supplier processes, product, and systems.
- Develop and qualify new and existing suppliers.
- Lead investigations and drive corrective actions.
- Monitor supplier quality metrics and trends.
- Collaborate with sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Support supplier scorecards and business reviews.
- Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.
