Job summary

Sanderson Plc is seeking a experienced Supplier Quality Engineer in Peterlee for a 12-month contract, fully onsite. The role focuses on supplier quality activities across engineering, procurement and quality teams to drive quality improvements across the supplier base.

Ideal candidates will have strong SQA experience, APQP/PPAP knowledge, and a background in automotive or manufacturing sectors with 5+ years' experience. Onsite in Peterlee with umbrella pay rate of £37.63 per hour.

Qualifications

• Strong Supplier Quality Engineering experience.
• APQP and PPAP knowledge.
• Experience leading quality or supplier-related projects.
• Strong supplier management and procurement understanding.
• New Product Introduction (NPI) experience.
• Experience with supplier selection, development, and quality planning.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Background within automotive, manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, rail, FMCG, or similar industries.
• Ideally 5+ years' relevant experience.
