Overview

Are you experienced in managing suppliers within a regulated environment? VWFS UK seeks a Supplier Performance Manager to join our Customer Operations team, focusing on maintaining key relationships and performance with our outsourced partners.

Role Responsibilities

1. Manage supplier performance against SLAs, KPIs, contractual obligations, budgets, compliance, and quality standards.
2. Lead improvement initiatives for non-compliance issues, including quality assurance and accountability measures.
3. Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure contracts meet regulatory requirements and protect the business.
4. Oversee supplier spend to ensure adherence to procurement guidelines and eliminate rogue payments.
5. Support suppliers with regulatory and process updates to enhance customer experience.
6. Identify opportunities for process improvements through root cause analysis and implement changes to improve service levels.
7. Provide insights to mid-tier and senior management on supplier performance and customer journey impacts.
8. Participate in meetings with the Supply Manager, delivering presentations and discussing supplier initiatives.
9. Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure inclusion of leading suppliers in panels and bidding processes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for senior management.
• Business acumen focused on value delivery and customer outcomes.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Previous experience in financial services and supplier management.
• Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Qualification in CIPS or similar (preferred, in progress or completed).
• Experience analyzing performance data and delivering strategic recommendations.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and process improvement initiatives.
• Understanding of VWFS UK products and brands (advantageous).
