At VWFS UK, we are on an exciting journey and are seeking a Supplier Performance Manager to join our Customer Operations department on a permanent basis. The role involves maintaining key relationships and managing performance with our Outsource Partners.

The role requires actively managing the performance, risk compliance, IT compliance, and contractual compliance of Suppliers providing critical, strategic, or tactical services to VWFS UK and its customers.

You will have daily contact with outsourced partners such as Everyday People Financial Services (EPFS) and Arvato, among others.

You must be able to establish and maintain proactive relationships with Partners and colleagues in the Partner Supplier Team.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the performance of multiple suppliers against SLA’s, KPI’s, contractual terms, budget, compliance, complaints, quality, and risk.
2. Lead improvement action plans for any non-compliance or service failures, including Quality Assurance, and hold suppliers accountable.
3. Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure contracts protect the business and meet regulatory standards.
4. Manage supplier spend compliance and eliminate rogue payments.
5. Support suppliers with regulatory or process changes to ensure seamless customer experience.
6. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance service levels and performance.
7. Provide operational insights to influence management decisions through reviews and presentations.
8. Participate in market research and benchmarking to ensure supplier panels include market-leading providers.

Skills And Experience

• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with Senior Management.
• Commercial acumen focused on value and customer outcomes.
• Negotiation skills and ability to influence external suppliers.
• Experience in Financial Services Industry.
• Highly organized, self-motivated.
• Proven experience in supplier management for service and product suppliers.
• CIPS qualification or equivalent is advantageous.
• Experience analyzing performance data and delivering insights.
• Experience navigating procurement processes and implementing efficiencies.
• Familiarity with VWFS UK products and brands is a plus.
