Job summary

TVS Supply Chain Solutions is recruiting a Supplier Improvement Co-ordinator for our Chorley head office. The role focuses on managing inbound supplier deliveries, ASN implementation, and driving supplier performance improvements across operations and SSC.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supplier management, packaging and inbound compliance, and stakeholder engagement to reduce delays and ownership costs. A comprehensive benefits package is offered with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supplier management, inbound logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of ASN management, delivery documentation, goods receipt, and inventory control.
• Experience monitoring supplier performance and driving compliance with packaging, labeling, and inbound delivery standards using KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor inbound delivery scheduling to ensure timely and efficient receipt of goods.
• Responsible for supplier consignment conformance and adherence to delivery and presentation standards.
• Implement and manage Supplier Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs).
• Lead supplier performance meetings to review service levels and improve inbound delivery performance.
• Maintain records of supplier relationships, commitments, actions, and performance metrics.
• Participate in supplier audits and improvement workshops with the SQA team.
• Develop and implement supplier delivery schedules with Operations and Supply Chain teams.
• Drive improvements in inbound processing to reduce receipt delays and total cost of ownership.
• Monitor inbound consignment conformance and operational performance using KPIs.
• Act as liaison between Supply Chain, Operations and Supplier for issue resolution.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and corrective actions.
• Promote best practices across supplier processes.
