Job summary

SmartestEnergy in Ipswich is seeking a Operations Billing Analyst to support accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders and payments to suppliers and third parties. You will report to the Operations BI Manager and help resolve invoice queries while collaborating with Finance and Billing to meet payment terms.

This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving and stakeholder management to improve data quality and streamline processes.

Qualifications

• Adept at identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Capacity to remain calm and perform well under pressure.
• Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
• IT literate and willing to expand knowledge of systems.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, purchase orders and payments to suppliers, industry bodies and third parties.
• Support accurate and timely processing of supplier financial data.
• Produce commission statements and resolve invoice queries.
• Collaborate with Finance, Billing and internal teams to meet payment terms.
• Identify and resolve billing or data quality issues and drive improvements.
• Contribute to wider BI team initiatives and knowledge sharing.
