Job Requirements

What will I be doing?

• Leading and developing the materials SQA team to meet supplier quality objectives.
• Auditing and qualifying raw material suppliers, forgers, and casting companies globally according to Safran's standards.
• Collaborating with laboratories and validation boards to approve new materials and processes.
• Managing a 3-year rolling audit plan for critical suppliers and material routes.
• Monitoring supplier performance through mechanical and chemical data analysis to drive improvements.

What do I need to succeed in the role?

• A degree or MSc in Materials Engineering or Materials Science.
• Experience in supply chain environments, especially auditing and managing suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of raw materials, including ultra-high tensile steel and titanium processes.
• Proficiency with quality tools like FMEA, 8D, statistical methods, and supplier training.
• Effective communication with suppliers and internal teams, solving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with standards.
