Job summary

West Northamptonshire Council is seeking a Supplier & Contract Analyst to maximise value from technology and digital investments. In the DDaT service you will manage a portfolio of suppliers and contracts underpinning service delivery across the Council and partners.

You will combine commercial acumen, data analysis and relationship management to monitor performance, support procurement, and drive improvements while balancing budgets and forecasts in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial awareness, data analysis and relationship management are essential.
• Experience interpreting financial, contractual or performance information.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle management of DDaT suppliers and contracts.
• Monitor performance, maintain supplier relationships and contribute to scorecards.
• Assist procurement activity for lower-value contracts in line with processes.
• Analyse supplier, contract and expenditure data to identify trends and risks.
• Prepare meaningful reports to support informed decision-making.
