Manager – Supplier Assurance , you’ll lead a team responsible for the quality-related aspects of supplier management across ADVANZ PHARMA’s global operations. This is a 14-month fixed-term contract beginning in September/October, ideal for someone with strong people or project management experience who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. You will:
- Manage and mentor a team of 4 (including direct reports based in Mumbai)
- Lead the quality integration of mergers, acquisitions, and new supplier onboarding
- Maintain and oversee Technical/Quality Agreements, approved supplier lists, and the Self Inspection programme
- Execute internal audits and manage GMP/GDP compliance systems
- Support project and change management within decentralised and matrixed structures
- Serve as a key stakeholder for cross-functional collaboration across Supply Chain, Regulatory, and New Product Introduction teams
- Deputise for the Senior Quality Manager – Supplier Assurance as required
About You We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference to patients’ lives.
Qualifications:- Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biology, or equivalent (non-essential if relevant industry experience)
- Postgraduate or auditing qualifications are a bonus
Experience & Competences:- Working experience in a pharmaceutical quality role
- People and/or project management experience is essential
- Understanding of GMP/GDP compliance and supplier quality systems
- Experience with internal auditing or global manufacturing sites is a plus
- Comfortable working in a decentralised, matrixed environment under tight timelines
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
Knowledge & Skills:- Strong understanding of relevant EU/UK pharmaceutical legislation (e.g., EudraLex Vol. 4, GDP 2013/C 343/01)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong motivator with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Logical, methodical, and solutions-focused mindset
