Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Langley Primary School, Langley, Oldbury, is seeking a dinner supervisor to start as soon as possible. You will supervise a class during lunch and support children with meals, alongside a team of existing dinner supervisors.
The role runs 5 hours 50 minutes per day during term time, with fixed KS1 and KS2 lunch slots from 12:00-13:00 and 12:30-13:30 respectively. A DBS check will be arranged, and training provided.
We are looking to appoint a dinner supervisor, to start as soon as possible.
Langley Primary is a school with excellent behaviour and no exclusions of any sort for more than 10 years. The children are polite and helpful.
The role would involve taking responsibility for a class of children over an hour’s lunchtime. This includes organising and supporting the children to eat their lunch and supervising them on the playground with other dinner supervisors.
Due to numbers the dinnertimes are split for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children. Key Stage 1 lunchtime is 12-1pm and KS2 12.30-1.30pm. You might be asked to work in either area but it would then be the same time each day and with the same class each day with a further 5 minutes each side for hand over.
You will be joining a team of established supervisors and will become part of a team. Training and induction will be provided at the beginning. You will need to be able to obtain a DBS (which we will arrange for you).
You are welcome to visit the school. If you wish to please contact the School Office on 0121 552 1744.
Pre-employment checks will be carried out in line with KCSIE
