Job summary

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is recruiting a dinner supervisor for Langley Primary School. The role focuses on supervising a class during the lunchtime period and assisting with eating, playtime, and safety. Training and DBS checks will be provided at the start of employment.

The position is permanent, part-time (5 hours 50 minutes per day during term time) with duties including supporting KS1/KS2 lunchtime sessions and working within a team of established supervisors.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment checks will be carried out in line with safeguarding guidance.
• Role requires ability to supervise and support young children during lunchtime.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a class of children during lunch break.
• Organise and support children to eat their lunch.
• Supervise playtime on the playground with other dinner supervisors.
• Be assigned to KS1 or KS2 lunchtime area with consistent class and time.
• Attend DBS checks and complete onboarding as required.
