Job summary

Morgan Sindall Property Services is recruiting a Supervisor/Team Leader in London (Chingford) to lead a team on social housing repairs, driving service standards and KPI delivery. You will plan resources and oversee day-to-day activity to ensure timely, cost-conscious completion.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 in Supervision, a Gold CSCS Card, and an SMSTS qualification with strong health and safety knowledge and a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Supervision or higher is required.
• Gold CSCS Card and SMSTS qualification are required.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and Building Safety Act.
• Experience leading DLO teams and managing subcontractors to deliver small multi-trade projects.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team on a project or defined work stream to meet KPI targets.
• Assess resource requirements and oversee day-to-day activity.
• Ensure works are completed on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Promote health and safety compliance across the team.

We are looking to recruit a Supervisor / Team Leader to join us in Chingford, London.

About the Role

Joining us as a Supervisor / Team Leader, you will lead a team as part of a project or defined work stream, driving excellent service standards and achievement of KPI s. You will assess resource requirements and support the management of the day-to-day activity, ensuring that all team objectives are met within overall time, cost and budget constraints.

About You

We are seeking an experienced, time-served Trade Supervisor with a strong background in social housing repairs and maintenance. The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Supervision, a Gold CSCS Card and a SMSTS qualification.

You will have excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation, building regulations and the Building Safety Act, alongside strong IT skills and the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams of operatives. Experience managing DLO teams, subcontractors and the delivery of small multi-trade projects is essential, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and in line with KPI targets.

A full UK manual driving licence, held for a minimum of 12 months, is required.
