Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Shift Supervisor to join us at our Warrington Hub. We’re always on the lookout for top talent to join our growing business. We work hard, make quick decisions, and deliver to our ambitious goals every day.

Our supervisors work on shifts, specifically the Night Shift, which is typically from 22:00 to 06:00, working any 5 days in 7.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Supervise Warehouse Operatives and manage operations within your zone, including throughput, parcel presentation, productivity, and achieving forecasted CPU against targets.
• Support the Process Manager with quality assurance and performance metrics.
• Manage and control Client SLAs, load presentation, infeed targets, blockbuster targets, parcel presentation, mis-sorts, damages, and scanning compliance, depending on your area.
• Conduct coaching, 1:1s, performance reviews, and team meetings.
• Maintain all reporting documentation and manifests to the required standards and deadlines.
• With the Process Manager, oversee H&S, hygiene, and quality audits, including risk assessments and safe systems of work during your shift.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience in logistics or distribution, ideally managing a team of operatives.
• Ability to work at pace and meet challenging targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Influence skills, utilizing data and your interpersonal skills.
