Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Shift Supervisor to join us at our Warrington Hub. We’re always on the lookout for top talent to join our growing business. In fact, we never stand still, we work hard, make quick decisions, and deliver to our ambitious goals every day.

Role Details

Our supervisors work on shifts, typically from 22:00 to 06:00, working any 5 days in 7.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise Warehouse Operatives and oversee operations in your zone, including throughput, parcel presentation, productivity, and achieving forecasted CPU against targets.
2. Support the Process Manager with the quality of sortation and performance against MI measurements.
3. Manage and control Client SLA’s, load presentation, infeed and blockbuster targets, parcel presentation, mis-sorts, damages, and scanning compliance, depending on your area.
4. Conduct coaching, 121’s, performance reviews, and team meetings with Operatives.
5. Maintain all reporting documentation and manifests to required standards and timescales.
6. With support from the Process Manager, ensure all H&S, hygiene, and quality audits are completed, including risk assessments and safe systems of work in your zone during shifts.

Essential Skills & Experience

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
2. Experience in logistics or distribution, ideally managing a team of operatives.
3. Ability to work at pace and meet challenging targets in a fast-paced environment.
4. Ability to influence using data and interpersonal skills.
