Job summary

Saltrock is seeking a Retail Supervisor on a 32-hour contract to join a vibrant team. You will support the Store Manager to drive performance, motivate staff, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while ensuring store standards and product presentation meet brand guidelines.

You will contribute to selling targets, train junior staff, manage stock, and uphold a welcoming environment. Prior retail experience is valued, with opportunities for growth within a coastal lifestyle brand.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Managing a small team would be desirable but not essential.
• Strong customer service and merchandising focus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and help achieve store KPI’s by supporting the Store Manager to drive performance.
• Motivate team members to deliver exceptional service and maximise sales opportunities.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of team members.
• Help achieve sales targets by showcasing passion for the product and processing transactions carefully.
• Display products in line with Brand guidelines and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure customers have a welcoming store environment and positive shopping experience.
• Keep store housekeeping to a high standard for safety and health.
• Provide product information, features and stock availability to customers.
• Assist with markdowns/price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep product tidy, presentable and replenish as needed.
• Process deliveries in a timely manner.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them whilst they are in store.

Role

• Monitor and help to achieve store KPI’s by supporting the Store Manager to drive performance
• Motivative team members to deliver exceptional service, maximising every sales opportunity
• Support Store Manager in training and development of team members
• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care
• Visual merchandising product in conjunction with Brand guidelines
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed
• Process deliveries in timely manner
