Role Overview
As part of the store’s Junior Management team, you will support management and help maintain high standards of customer service. You will assist in supervising staff and managing daily managerial processes as directed by Store Management.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service by resolving complaints and inquiries, ensuring staff appearance aligns with company standards, and understanding the customer service measurement program.
- Drive and exceed sales targets by monitoring service levels, utilizing in-store devices to promote the full product range, and analyzing reports for effective product placement.
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards through engaging techniques, keeping stock clean and presentable, and supporting sales floor standards.
- Train and develop staff, assist with new employee induction, encourage personal growth, and oversee training assessments.
Role Objectives and KPIs
- Achieve or exceed the store’s monthly sales targets.
- Drive KPIs including Units, Conversion, ATV, UPT.
- Meet upselling and cross-selling targets.
- Maintain a high Net Promoter Score.
- Ensure stock accuracy during audits.
- Complete mandatory training for all new colleagues.
Skills and Experience
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
- Passion for retail with a good understanding of current trends and competitors.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring staff.
- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to uphold high standards on the shop floor.
- Ability to promote JD Group values to stakeholders.
