Job summary

Brewhouse & Kitchen Portsmouth is hiring a Supervisor to lead shifts in our busy pub, delivering great food and craft beer while coaching the team and maintaining high standards of service. You will open and close the pub, train and develop colleagues, ensure health and safety compliance, and actively help grow sales.

This is a fantastic chance to progress within a well-known operator that promotes internally.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality supervisory roles preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Passion for food, drink and guest service.

Job description

Role Purpose

Our Supervisors are a hugely important part of the leadership structure in our pubs and with our reputation of promoting internally, there are clear lines of progression for those who wish to develop to Assistant Manager. You will be passionate about great food, drinks (particularly craft beer) and service, have a keen eye for detail, and have an understanding of how to encourage and coach to get the best out of your team.

You will be the driver of our operational standards. You will champion product knowledge and training across both our food and beverage offer and above all else be ready to learn and develop yourself along with the support of our senior team.

As a Supervisor, you will be leading shifts, this will include opening & closing the pub, training & coaching of the team, managing health & safety of the pub and have a keen eye for growing sales!
