Job summary

Compass Group UK&I are recruiting a dedicated Supervisor to help ensure smooth operations in a major High Street brand. This full-time role runs 40 hours per week, with opportunities to progress within a company that values its people and rewards going the extra mile.

As Supervisor, you’ll lead a frontline team, manage weekly rotas, handle deliveries, stock orders, and uphold food hygiene and safety standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Check and store deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and foster a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as needed.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate tasks and ensure the team stays proactive.
• Comply with food handling, hygiene, and health and safety standards.

Your Key Responsibilities May Include

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Our Ideal Supervisor Will

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
• Team player and can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
