Job summary

Marston's PLC is seeking a Supervisor for our Bootle Arms in Melling. This 30-hour/week role offers a reliable hours contract with flexible/part-time hours and a starting rate of £12.81 per hour. You will lead shifts, support the team, and help deliver memorable guest experiences at our busy pub.

You'll open, close, stock, and cash up, while modelling excellent customer service. Progression opportunities exist through our internal pathways as you develop with Marston's.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a busy, varied shift.
• Willingness to work 30 hours per week with flexible/part-time hours.

About the Role

We're on the lookout for a Supervisor to join our team!

Right at the heart of the pub - creating moments of joy. You'll be there supporting the team to deliver the everyday moments and those stand-out occasions. You'll thrive from an environment that is busy, varied, fast paced but most importantly - fun!

As Supervisor you'll:

• Have a natural talent for leading and motivating others, you'll share moments of joy with our team and guests.
• Share a pride in delivering an experience that gets our guests coming back for more.
• Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role.
• Work with the wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably.
• Be responsible for opening, closing, stocking, and cashing up.
• Be a role model for customer service.
• Think quickly and use your initiative.
• Manage all aspects of the pub during shifts when the wider management team is away.
