Job summary

HatHats Coffee Company Limited is seeking an enthusiastic Supervisor for the Barista Academy outlet on the Canterbury Academy campus. The role supports the outlet manager and regular training will be provided to maintain HatHats standards.

The position is full-time (37.5 hours) with weekend and school holiday availability and comprehensive coffee training. The successful candidate will lead daily operations, supervise staff, ensure quality drinks and service, manage stock and reporting, and

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations on shift in collaboration with the outlet manager.
• Ensure drinks and food meet HatHats standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and manage end-of-day cash up and reporting.
• Assist with training new team members and event preparation.
• Create content for HatHats social channels when requested.

Supervisor - Barista Academy (Full Time)

Job Description:

Here at HatHats Coffee Company, we are looking for an amazing outlet supervisor to work at our Barista Academy outlet, to support the outlet manager and outlet assistant manager in running the outlet in the 'HatHats' way.

• You will be hired on a Full Time 37.5 hour contract . You will be required to be available to work weekends and during school holidays.
• Your location of work will beHatHats Coffee Barista Academylocated on the Canterbury Academy campus.
• Your hourly wage will range from£11.40- £13 per hour, depending on your age.
• Full training will be provided, includingcoffee training(as we like our coffee made in the 'HatHats' way!)

HatHats Coffee Company was founded by serial entrepreneur Louis Hurst and his wife Lisa, in 2015.

HatHats Coffee Company has grown a lot since its start-up days in a vintage Citroen van (‘Hattie’), with there now being almost a dozen sites in East Kent! We are currently planning our next phase of development, as we open more sites and expand our venues and commercial offer.

In-depths of the job...

It is virtually impossible to list all tasks that the outlet supervisor role consists of, however we have listed some of the responsibilities of the role below. As mentioned above, you will receive full on-the-job training to be able to confidently fulfil these responsibilities.

• Leading on the day-to-day operations of the space, working closely with the outlet manager
• Ensuring that staff on shift are producing drinks and food to the standard of the business
• Taking the lead for the cleanliness of the venue whilst on shift.
• Ensuring that all reporting during the shift is completed accurately, including reports for Environmental Health Organisation
• Cash up at the end of the day
• Assisting/ conducting weekly stock takes
• Customer service and complaint resolution
• Being a key holder for the outlet; opening and closing the outlet
• Making and serving hand-crafted drinks
• Cleaning and clearing tables
• Crepe making
• Till operation
• Re-stocking products
• Assisting with training new team members, as directed by the outlet manager
• Ensuring that the outlet is prepared for any events taking place (hosted at HatHats, hosted by HatHats, or community events taking place in HatHats locations)
• Using own initiative and creativity to plan and create content for the HatHats social media channels. In addition to producing content, when requested by Head Office, you will be required to feature on the HatHats vlog, that is posted on social media channels and YouTube
