Job summary

Ringway is seeking a Supervisor to lead frontline service delivery across capital works, routine maintenance, winter operations and emergency responses. You will oversee field teams, monitor productivity and safety, and collaborate with the Area Manager to plan training and development while using our bespoke software to track costs and outputs.

The role emphasizes adherence to CDM practices and aligns with Ringway's vision and values.

Responsibilities

• Front line responsibility for service delivery of Capital works, routine maintenance works, winter maintenance and emergency response activities including standby duties as required
• Supervise the operational teams in line with productivity and quality targets and to produce weekly costs and value using bespoke software
• Monitor the skills and experience of operatives within the teams and work with Area Manager to plan training and development
• Working knowledge of CDM
• Work closely with the Plant and Fleet Department to manage the vehicle and equipment assets at best efficiency
• Actively promote and use the bespoke software available to deliver the service requirements

Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;

• To work safely and promote a safe environment for all operations for all personnel under your authority and others who may be affected by the Company’s activities such as the general public

Essential Skills required;

The role of Supervisor is a position that requires good detailed knowledge of operational issues. It will require the supervisor to develop, plan and execute daily works in an organised way to ensure profitable returns, safety for all teams and customer satisfaction. Training support will be essential to ensure that Supervisors have the skill set to meet all requirements of the role and this will be addressed through appraisal and training development.
