Compass Bloom is seeking a Supervising Practitioner to guide a team delivering early intervention mental health support to children and young people. You will study for a postgraduate Supervising Practitioner qualification while maintaining a small caseload and providing supervision to colleagues.
You’ll work closely with schools, Team Leaders and Compass teams to embed high standards of care and drive service development across the programme.
Ready to use your expertise to guide and support a team delivering early intervention mental health support to children and young people? As a Supervising Practitioner, you’ll be part of our Compass Bloom Mental Health Support Team, working alongside schools to deliver evidence based interventions and promote whole school approaches to mental wellbeing, while ensuring practitioners feel supported and safe in their practice.
As part of this role, you’ll undertake a postgraduate Supervising Practitioner qualification. You’ll study alongside your role, developing the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide high quality clinical supervision.
You’ll hold a small caseload and work directly with young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, while providing clinical supervision, reflective spaces and day to day guidance to colleagues. You’ll play an important role in embedding good practice, supporting professional development and maintaining high standards of care.
Working closely with schools, Team Leaders and the wider Compass team, you’ll help drive quality and consistency across the service, supporting practitioners and contributing to service development.

You might also bring a Postgraduate Certificate in Supervision, training in low-intensity CBT, or experience working in a skill-mixed team but we’re more interested in the way you think, lead and show up for others than in ticking every box.
