Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced Waitrose distribution environment in Aylesford, Kent.

This role operates a PM shift from 14:00 to 22:00, 5 days out of 7, with part-time slots currently available on Sunday, Thursday and Friday. You will work in a chilled warehouse (0°C to 3°C) handling picking, packing and dispatch tasks with training provided.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail to ensure accurate picking/packing.
• Ability to work in a cold environment (0°C to 3°C).
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
• Working to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Handling goods within a chilled warehouse (0-3°C).
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Loading and unloading deliveries where required.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the workspace.

Pay Rate

• 14:00 - 18:00 - £13.05 per hour
• 18:00 - 22:00 - £15.80 per hour
