About the role

As a Customer Delivery Driver at Waitrose, you will deliver high-quality produce and service directly to customers' doors, embodying our ethos of passionate Partners serving food lovers. When not on deliveries, you will support the shop team with daily tasks such as stock replenishment and housekeeping, contributing to the shop's smooth operation in a friendly environment.

Note: You must be 18 years or older to apply for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Start your day in-store by checking your delivery routes.
• Load and prepare your van for deliveries, ensuring all orders are organized for efficient delivery.
• Complete vehicle safety checks, maintaining compliance with road safety and health regulations.
• Represent the Waitrose brand on the road, prioritizing excellent customer service.
• Assist customers with their shopping and build rapport based on trust and service.
• Support the shop team with general shopkeeping tasks as needed.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Full valid UK manual driving license (Category B) with no more than 6 points.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective time management abilities.
• Physical capability to handle tasks such as lifting crates and moving cages.
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and adaptable.
