Job summary

Snap Care is seeking a Sunday + Bank Support Worker in Bromley to assist Amelia, a 7-year-old with cerebral palsy and auditory neuropathy. The role involves personal care, transfers and helping with communication and daily activities on Sundays, approximately 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. This is a female-only position supporting a single client within the family setting.

Start ASAP. The role requires empathy, strong communication and good organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Professional or personal experience supporting children with additional needs or disabilities, with an understanding of how to adapt support to the individual child.
• Strong communication skills when working with children, parents and wider support teams.
• Good organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage different responsibilities effectively.
• This role is open to female applicants only.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and transfers for Amelia as needed.
• Support communication and engagement, including with AAC and signs.
• Assist with activities such as swimming, family time, Sunday School and homework.
• Help Amelia enjoy age-appropriate activities and develop independence.
