Age UK in Woolwich is seeking a dedicated Sunday Shop Supervisor to manage our busy Sunday shop, deliver excellent customer service and oversee stock and displays. The role involves keeping the shop welcoming, driving sales and promoting Gift Aid. It is a part-time Sunday position requiring six hours each Sunday.

Applicants should have cash handling experience, strong numeracy and literacy skills, and the ability to work well in a team while also handling lone-working situations when needed.

Our shops raise vital funds that enable the charity to support older people across the UK.

We are looking for aSunday Shop Supervisorto provide a quality retail service, taking responsibility for running our busy shop on Sundays. This varied role will include, managing stock, displaying goods, maintaining the appearance of the shop, maximising sales and promoting Gift Aid to our valued customers.

Please note this opportunity will require the successful candidate to work6hours every Sunday.

To ensure the smooth running of our shops, we will be conducting interviews throughout the advertising process. Early applications are advised.

Any other details

On occasion there may be a requirement for a flexible approach, working additional days to cover holidays and sickness or to participate in trading outside of normal shop hours e.g. shop events.
