Job summary

Age UK in Letchworth is seeking a Sunday Shop Supervisor to run the busy Sunday shop, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming, well-presented environment. The role is part-time, 6 hours each Sunday, with duties including stock management, merchandising, promoting Gift Aid, and helping maximise fundraising.

Interviews will be held during the advertising process; early applications are encouraged.

Age UK has a fantastic opportunity! We are recruiting for a Sunday Shop Supervisor in our Letchworth shop.

Our shops raise vital funds that enable the charity to support older people across the UK.

We are looking for a Sunday Shop Supervisor to provide a quality retail service, taking responsibility for running our busy shop on Sundays. This varied role will include, managing stock, displaying goods, maintaining the appearance of the shop, maximising sales and promoting Gift Aid to our valued customers.

Please note this opportunity will require the successful candidate to work 6 hours every Sunday.

To ensure the smooth running of our shops, we will be conducting interviews throughout the advertising process. Early applications are advised.

Must haves:

On occasion there may be a requirement for a flexible approach, working additional days to cover holidays and sickness or to participate in trading outside of normal shop hours e.g. shop events.
