Job summary

Capability Scotland is seeking a friendly, reliable PA to support a 10-year-old child on Sundays for 6 hours. The role includes activities such as swimming, football, and animal-related play, with supervision to ensure safety, especially during overstimulation. Training will be provided for gastrostomy care, and a PVG check is required.

The position pays £13.45 per hour with paid annual leave of 5.6 weeks pro rata; the client is the employer, with Capability Scotland acting on their behalf.

Qualifications

• Experience with children with ADHD preferred.
• Ability to engage in outdoor activities and swimming.
• Willingness to learn gastrostomy care; training provided.
• Reliable, patient and able to recognise overwhelm.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive supervision during Sunday activities.
• Engage the child in fun activities and help them enjoy their Sundays.
• Support with mobility, safety and transport as needed.
