Job summary

Summer Boarding Courses (SBC) is hiring a full-time Summer School Operations Manager to oversee seven sites and deliver key projects by June 2027. Based in the UK, the role combines logistics, systems training and on-site coordination during the summer period.

You will lead operational readiness, manage transfers, stock, and site readiness, and partner with host schools and SBC teams to ensure smooth student experiences while staying cost-conscious.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations or transferable roles in live events, hospitality or similar environments.
• Analytical and logical with strong attention to detail.
• Organised and systematic with IT literacy and ability to learn new systems.
• Interest in developing a career in operations and adaptability to changing needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement boarding school management system across SBC's summer operations.
• Overhaul end-to-end management of airport transfers for safe student arrivals/departures.
• Support Staff Experience team in integrating a digital rota system.
• Ensure operational readiness across SBC's 7 summer camp sites.
• Coordinate with host sites to ensure readiness and resources.
• Plan and book student arrivals/departures transfers; secure cost-effective arrangements.
• Develop rotas for each site with Programmes team.
• Support delivery of summer camp programmes from Oxford or other locations; travel as required.
