Job summary

G--researc in London seeks exceptional machine learning students for a 12-week summer internship, working with world-class researchers on cutting-edge ML problems. You’ll join the Technical Machine Learning team to tackle challenging research questions, implement ideas, and develop/optimize models using Python, PyTorch and NumPy in a collaborative environment.

Dates: 28 June 2027 – 17 September 2027, Working hours: 09:00–17:30.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate, master's or PhD student in machine learning or a related discipline.
• Strong OO programming with Python, PyTorch and NumPy is desirable.
• Experience in optimisation methods, modern ML techniques, HPC, profiling or model inference is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement ideas from published research papers.
• Write custom libraries to train models on large-scale data.
• Reduce model training times by optimising ML operations.
• Profile ML architectures to identify performance bottlenecks.
• Evaluate latest hardware and software in ML ecosystem.
