Job summary

G-Research is launching a 10-week Summer Research Programme in London. Interns will gain insight into life as a Machine Learning practitioner, paired with mentors, with access to vast computing resources and senior staff leaders in the field.

The role involves working on a meaningful research project, with exposure to production-ready applications and a final presentation to senior management at completion.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree in Machine Learning or related discipline, or commercial ML experience.
• Experience in one or more of deep learning, reinforcement learning, non-convex optimisation, Bayesian non-parametrics, NLP or approximate inference.
• Excellent reasoning skills and mathematical ability; ability to develop own models.

Responsibilities

• Work on a 10-week ML research project under a mentor.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to develop algorithms.
• Present findings to senior management at the end of the programme.
