Job summary

Barclays invites you to a Summer Internship in the Sales, Trading and Structuring division in London. Over ten weeks, you will rotate through desks, gain exposure to Barclays’ markets and products, and contribute to real projects under a mentor and line manager.

You will be in your penultimate or final year, with an interest in business or finance, and you will develop practical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in penultimate or final year of university.
• Interest in business or finance with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the day-to-day activities of the markets division and provide insights to senior colleagues.
• Perform small research projects and prepare presentations to communicate findings to leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
• Rotate across Sales and Trading desks including Financial resource management, Client strategy, Credit, Equities, Equity financing, Foreign exchange, Rates, Structuring and Securitised Products.
