Barclays invites penultimate-year students to join its Investing and Lending Summer Internship Programme in London. You’ll gain hands-on experience, take on immediate responsibility, and work under a mentor and line manager. The role spans across an international team, with exposure to UK, US, EMEA and APAC operations.

You will develop core credit analysis skills, learn end-to-end deal processes, and build a client-focused mindset to drive value for Barclays’ IB clients.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of university in any discipline.
• Ability to digest financial information and make informed suggestions.
• Commercial awareness and client-focus mindset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day activities of Investing and Lending division to provide insights.
• Support senior colleagues in developing new products and services.
• Identify market opportunities and assist in decision making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
• Engage with clients and contribute to a tailored service delivery.
