Job summary

BNY's Summer Internship Program offers a dynamic 10-week experience designed to accelerate development, build professional networks, and provide meaningful exposure to a leading financial services institution.

Through structured onboarding, meaningful project work aligned to business practices, mentorship, and cross-team exposure, interns gain hands-on experience in enterprise operations, governance, and AI-enabled transformation.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 3 or 4-year undergraduate degree program with a focus on business or technology (preferred)
• Interest in business management, governance, AI, and execution disciplines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist COO team with day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives
• Conduct research on operational processes and performance metrics
• Track actions, risks, milestones, and deliverables across projects
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
• Assist with documentation of procedures, workflows, and governance materials
• Support AI initiatives by researching use cases and opportunities
