Job summary

Arup in Leeds offers a six-week Summer Internship for Electrical/Building Services Engineers to join the Buildings teams across the UK. The role provides hands-on design support, collaboration with Architects, Building Services and Project Managers, and exposure to client-facing work.

You will develop designs using relevant software, work within a multi-disciplinary team, and learn how a design engineer contributes to sustainable built environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering.
• On track to achieve a 2.1 or above.
• Demonstrate strong motivation for a career in building design.

Responsibilities

• Support team to deliver services to clients on projects.
• Assist in preparing designs in coordination with the team.
• Work with multidisciplinary project teams including Architects, Building Services and Structural Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers.
