Job summary

MBDA is offering a 10-week Summer Placement for a Computer Vision and AI Engineer within the Image Processing UK department. Starting June 2027, you will work on cutting-edge image processing and AI projects, guided by senior engineers, with exposure to automotive-grade hardware including Jetson platforms.

On-site work 4–5 days per week is typical; BPSS clearance is required. The role includes pension contributions up to 14% and paid overtime, with 5 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate working towards a degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Utilising Image Processing, Computer Vision, AI and Computational Imaging techniques to conduct research studies into cutting-edge innovations for future products.
