Job summary

MBDA is offering a summer placement in Image Processing UK where you will join a team working on cutting-edge computer vision and AI research for future MBDA products. You will lead small research efforts, gaining insight into missile systems while developing practical skills in CV/AI techniques.

You will work on campus-style tasks with strong lab support, developing hands-on experience with Matlab, Python, and deep learning tools, with potential for a graduate role after your final year.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate working towards a degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Research and solve problems in Image Processing, Computer Vision, AI, and Computational Imaging for future MBDA products.
• Develop algorithms as part of a wider product programme, collaborating with engineers and graduates to gain in-depth weapon design knowledge.
