Job summary

Education First Cambridge Clare College Summer School is seeking enthusiastic Activity Leaders for summer 2027. You will organize and lead activities, events and excursions for international students, creating a welcoming and engaging environment.

The role is full-time, six days a week, on-site in Cambridge and runs from late June to mid August 2027, with accommodation and full board provided if necessary. Join EF in a multicultural setting where you can develop leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Strong motivation, energetic and sociable personality.
• Confident in leading and managing groups of students.
• Highly organized, able to use initiative and work unsupervised.
• Remains calm in difficult situations under pressure.
• Appreciation of cultural differences and sensitivity to international students.
• Flexible approach to work and hours.
• First Aider training (preferable).
• Experience with 13–17 year olds (preferable).
• Clear enhanced DBS check and two references required.
• Right to work in the UK on commencement.

Responsibilities

• Leads groups of international students on activities, events, ceremonies and day trips.
• Creates a lively atmosphere throughout the site and during excursions, delivering excellent customer service.
• Helps students break cultural barriers and build friendships by speaking English and sharing cultures.
• Takes responsibility for health, safety and well-being of all students per EF policy and procedures.
• Liaises with co-leaders and the Activities and Events Manager to discuss improvements for future activities.
• Ensures the delivery of a three-day, overnight residential programme in London at the end of the students’ programme.
• Ensures the EF behaviour code is followed and reports any issues to management.
