Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Assistant Subsurface Utility Mapping Surveyor to join the Nottingham team. You will support and learn from utility surveyors, working across PAS128 survey work and related geophysical and GIS tasks in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Based in our Nottingham Office, the role blends fieldwork across the UK with office tasks, including data interpretation and reporting. AECOM offers hybrid working and development opportunities in a global engineering firm.

Qualifications

• Driving licence and ability to travel across the UK.
• NVQ in Utility detection preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and CAD.
• CSCS card desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support experienced utility surveyors in undertaking buried utility and utility avoidance surveys to PAS128 standards.
• Learn and build experience under guidance of existing surveyors while performing site operations across the UK.
• Assist with producing operational paperwork, data interpretation, CAD drawings and written reports.
