Job summary

Encompass Geospatial is seeking an Experienced Utility Surveyor (2+ years) to join a growing team delivering PAS 128-compliant surveys across the UK. You will operate EML and GPR, produce CAD deliverables, interpret records, and collaborate with BIM and geospatial colleagues on diverse projects.

The role offers progression toward Senior Surveyor roles, access to advanced equipment, CPD opportunities, and a company vehicle with chances for varied fieldwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of utility or land surveying experience.
• Confident using EML and GPR; CAD/data processing helpful.
• Strong eye for accuracy and details.

Responsibilities

• Carry out underground utility surveys using EML and GPR.
• Work with total stations, GPS and data collection systems.
• Produce CAD drawings and digital survey deliverables.
• Interpret records and survey data to support reporting and design.
• Collaborate with other disciplines for coordinated results.
• Maintain equipment and follow health & safety protocols.
• Occasional UK site travel for varied fieldwork.
