Job summary

AECOM is recruiting for an Assistant Subsurface Utility Mapping Surveyor based in Nottingham. The role combines fieldwork and office tasks, supporting experienced surveyors in buried utility surveys to PAS128 standards.

You will learn on the job, relocate if needed, and aim for progression toward a lead position while developing skills in data interpretation, CAD, and reporting within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Experience or awareness of utility infrastructure and surveying practices.
• NVQ in Utility detection or equivalent qualification is required.
• Proficiency with standard office software and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Support experienced utility surveyors in buried utility surveys to PAS128 standards.
• Assist with fieldwork across the UK and some office tasks including data interpretation and reporting.
• Learn to progress toward lead roles through development and training.
