The Worcestershire County Council is seeking a Substance Misuse Worker within the Families First Team. You will co-ordinate treatment for service users to address substance misuse, helping them change their lives and preventing family breakdown.

Salary Grade:Scale 6 (£30,817 - £32,929 per annum)

Purpose of job:
Joining the multi-disciplinary Families First Service, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the treatment of service users, helping them to deal with their substance misuse so that they can change their lives and be happy, with a specific focus on preventing family breakdown.
You will need to be able to work with service users holistically, helping them to access other services, both within the Families First Team and in other services, that can help with the practical problems they may be facing as a result of their substance misuse (e.g., housing, financial, healthcare etc).
