Worcestershire County Council is hiring a Family Support Worker to join the Worcester/Malvern Families First team. The role is 37 hours per week, permanent, at Salary Scale 6 (£30,559 - £34,999 per annum).
The post supports children, young people and families through multi-disciplinary, evidence-based approaches with a focus on early preventative work. Training and development are available, with hybrid working where possible.

Children's Services are building on the positive outcomes achieved through multi-disciplinary working with children, young people and their families. The new Social Care Reforms recognises that families benefit from a multi-disciplinary evidence-based interventions that are well co-ordinated with evidenced based outcomes. Preventative work is at the earliest opportunity that will support families to manage the challenges they face positively and get the help and support they need to prevent escalation to vulnerability and risk and into child protection and care.
