Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker in Crewe to join a full-time 3-month contract. You will support service users from referral through treatment and recovery, conducting assessments, risk reviews, and delivering harm-reduction interventions to improve health outcomes.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, in a dynamic, supportive environment. Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health/Social Care or related field, with experience in recovery,

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse or related challenges.
• Experience conducting assessments and developing recovery plans.
• Ability to deliver harm reduction strategies and psychosocial interventions.

Responsibilities

• Support service users from referral through treatment and recovery journey.
• Undertake assessments, risk assessments, and regular reviews.
• Deliver harm reduction interventions to reduce risks and improve health outcomes.
• Facilitate structured group sessions and recovery programmes.
