Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel in London is seeking a Recovery Worker for Substance Misuse Services in Redbridge. This full-time locum role runs for 3 months with the potential extension, offering 37.5 hours per week and a rate of £22 per hour Umbrella.

You will manage a caseload, apply harm reduction, develop care plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with a wide network of professionals to support service users toward recovery.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on Update Service is required.
• Experience working with substance misuse (drugs and alcohol).
• Ability to manage a varied caseload with strong keyworking and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of harm reduction principles and recovery models.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a caseload of clients, providing tailored keyworking sessions geared towards their individual recovery goals.
• Apply harm reduction and recovery models to promote healthier lifestyle choices.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and create detailed care plans for substance misuse clients.
